Hughie Fury continued his comeback in style with a second-round stoppage victory over Patrick Korte in Cardiff on Saturday night.
The 29-year-old fought for the second time in three weeks, following a six-round points win over Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko after a three-year hiatus.
Fury shook off any remaining ring rust with an emphatic performance, landing a vicious right hand in the second round that left Korte staggering. A subsequent flurry of punches forced the referee to step in and stop the fight.
This victory improves Fury’s record to 28-3 as he aims to climb back to the top ranks of the world’s heavyweights.
