Francesca Hennessy extended her unbeaten streak with another impressive performance, outpointing Poland’s Dorota Norek on the undercard of Chris Billam-Smith’s World Title defense against Richard Riakporhe.

The highly regarded prospect, now 4-0, stepped up in both the number of rounds and level of competition, and seamlessly adjusted to both in just her fourth professional fight.

Despite the imposing Pole appearing one or two weight classes bigger, it was the young Francesca who stamped her authority with powerful body shots and precise left hooks upstairs. Whether in close-quarters exchanges or at mid to long-range, the Sevenoaks native looked comfortable in every way.

The performance was even more commendable considering the emotional lead-up to the fight, with the passing of her Nanny Joan. Wearing attire that honoured her memory, Francesca stayed focused and delivered a performance her Nanny would have been proud of.
