Lee Haskins and Ryosuke Iwasa weighed comfortably inside the bantamweight limit this afternoon in Bristol ahead of their IBF Interim World Bantamweight Title fight tomorrow night (live on Channel 5 from 10pm).
Japanese star Iwasa was first on the scales and recorded an official weight of 8 stone 6lbs and a quarter. Home favourite Haskins, meanwhile, was bang on the bantamweight limit of 8 stone 6lbs.
In the chief support contest, Leeds’ British champion Bob Ajisafe weighed 12 stone 7lbs, while his opponent Daniel Wanyonyi of Kenya weighed 12 stone 4lbs. The pair contest the Commonwealth light-heavyweight title, live on Spike TV (channel 160).
