Cruiserweight, Isaac Chamberlain, made his return to the ring on Saturday night with a points victory over Dylan Bregeon
It had been a frustrating four weeks for the Brixton fighter, having seen his original opponent, Mikael Lawal, pulling out from their May 27th British Title fight. Plans remained for him to still feature on the night, only to suffer another setback as licensing issues prevented Isaac from fighting.
Three weeks later, however, Isaac would be given an opportunity to fight on the York Hall card in London against the experienced Dylan Bregeon. Despite concerns of having over-trained, Chamberlain turned up on fight night in exceptional condition as he dominated through 8 rounds to score a wide points victory.
He may not have got the stoppage he was aiming for, but the high work-rate he exhibited over the distance gave his team plenty of room for optimism. A good workout here, they believe, will put their man in good standing for the re-scheduled British Title fight against Mikael Lawal.
