Aaron McKenna continued his unbeaten with a win over the tough Jordan Grant on the undercard of Lawrence Okolie’s world title defence in Manchester
Moving to 16-0, the Monghan fighter took on Grant – who was a last minute replacement for Lukas Ndafoluma. And despite Aaron, a middleweight, being outweighed by the Scot who’s a natural light-heavyweight, he dominated the entire 6-rounds with his powerful body shots and intense pressure.
By the third round, Grant was already in survival mode as McKenna sought for more creative ways to end the fight early. But the weight advantage allowed the Scot to hang tough and see the final bell as Aaron was declared the winner having swept all 6 rounds
